RANA recognises that there is a significant demand for aircraft to be registered under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulation. The ‘non-citizen owner trust’ is the recognised structure which allows non-US citizens to register an aircraft. Managed by a US trustee, the aircraft owner trust holds the legal title to the aircraft and arranges registration of the aircraft with the FAA for the sole use of the beneficial owner/purchaser who is permitted to continue operating the aircraft under US registration.
